Well. Now we need an episode where they all have to ride horses! I know Joe F can ride, so Sheppard will look like the natural he is. Rodney, however - I'm giggling so hard, trying to imagine him on horseback!
I was thinking of 3-day eventing (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eventing) with John, naturally, as the rider. I was thinking of Rodney as the engineer who did the body-armor, but vet would work, too. Or something else.
Every Sci-Fi show needs a Western episode! Isn't that some kind of rule? (I mean, come on - even Red Dwarf did a Western! Which was fantastically fun, too.)
Aww is this the first time you've seen this pic? Its just amazingly sweet....oh using photo shop on this type of beauty would be a crime.
I have some HD caps up on my LJ, trying to gather all the Ronon and Sheppard ones in a single spot...though I can't find any High rez ones of the wonderful Rodney and Sheppard scene.

When I saw the scene in the episode I thought it was nice, and fitting that a rich family would have horses. Presumably he can ride (horses I mean, get your mind out of the gutter, girlies!! *tuts like a school marm* - not like I ever think about my fav (McKay) like that - oh goodness me, no *smirk*!!).
Of course, seeing the huge screencap makes me go 'awwww'! The horse is very pretty and *so* wants to hog the limelight! The look on John's face makes me wonder if he spent a lot of time with the horses when growing up - sort of getting away from the family, maybe telling them his problems/secrets or something. It's like in the photo he feels more at home with the horse than the family gathering, so perhaps it's normal for him? If you get what I mean fromt his slightly incoherent rambling!
Anyway, something for Shep fans to consider maybe?
And the idea of Rodney on a horse...LOL!! Yeah, *that* I would *love* to see! Though wouldn't it be funny if it turned out that he could, in fact, ride a horse?! Not as much fun as panicked 'oh crap I'm going to die' Rodney, but could be an interesting twist in McKay's own family background?
Oooh, ideas are flowing - if only I had the energy to write them! But I need to try and get on with a certain ficathon story...! Really, I must!!
