Please let me know of any problems you experience in download or playback. I'm getting a bit of jerkiness when I play back the compiled file, but I think it's because I'm also uploading at the same time and my computer is having trouble with that. Tell me if it's unreasonably jerky and I'll see what I can do to fix it.

It's kind of ironic that the first video I was inspired to make in this fandom was for a character that I've gone on record as not really liking all that much. This is, essentially, a tribute to Rose as the Doctor sees her ... or, perhaps, the Rose that I really, really wanted to like.

Awww! Lovely, lovely vid - the song is just perfect, and the clips really do show the Rose that I love, and that meant so much to the Doctor. ♥

There are lots and lots of weird pixellation issues when I play it in Totem, but it plays just fine in VLC - no jerkiness, no weird colors, no pixellation.

Thank you! That's weird about the pixellation ... but one of the problems with making my vids on a Mac is that the WMV encoder is not all that great, so some of my videos come out where they play fine for ME but not for anybody else...

This song played on the radio yesterday and I just though of Rose and the Doctor immediately. Re-watching the early episodes for clips, now that I've seen the later part of the series and the first couple eps of season 3, just made me so sad, because I can really see what it was that drew him to her in the first place -- Eccleston's Doctor was such a sad, tormented person, and you can see Rose bringing him out of his shell and drawing him back whenever he starts to go to that sad, self-pitying place in his head. I really think that the Eccleston Doctor, much moreso than his next regeneration, needed someone like Rose -- young, cheerful, jumping wholeheartedly into everything she did -- to bring out his sense of wonder again.

On a more serious note, it's a beautifully edited vid which really does show Rose's best side. This is the Rose that doesn't annoy me. And the vid, I love.

And no problem with the playback for me. It all runs smoothly.

I think that the first couple episodes of season 3 really impressed me with how important she was to him, even if I wasn't, personally, all that crazy about her. I wanted to do a vid about how he sees her -- kind of a "best parts version" of the Rose seasons.

Played fine for me! And it's a great vid, very sweet. That is the Rose I saw, the Rose I like, who throws herself heart & soul into everything and reminds the Doctor how to do the same...
