Recently updated fic-stuff

I put up a couple of my recent sga-flashfic stories at ff.net. Also, there's a new mixed-media one over at sga-flashfic. The general theme to all of them seem to be "John and Rodney acting like dorks". Whatta shock.

My website is long overdue for a fic update. Erm. Yeah. I really should do that.

And I'm still posting chapters of the Fading Sun AU. If you started reading but couldn't get through the massive depressing-ness of the first few chapters, we're finally getting to the plotty stuff now...

Hey there! I posted a review on fanfic.net (JuneBug) but I just wanted to post here as well and say how much I love this story so far. Especially this past chapter with the Ronon/McKay stuff. Really, really awesome job with their relationship. I'm so loving watching their relationship play out on TV, and it's so great to read it as well. I also love the way you write the McKay/Sheppard friendship in your stories. Very believable. Thanks so much for writing. Really great job so far :)

Thanks so much! I absolutely suck at replying to reviews on ff.net, especially with their messaging system being intermittently up and down, but thanks for reviewing. And I did think about replying to your review because you'd mentioned the Ronon/Rodney relationship over there as well, and I wanted to say something about that ... but then I never did. I do love their interaction, though! That particular friendship didn't really exist before this season -- it's a perfectly fair question that Carson asks in Sateda, because they never *did* spend time together. And in fact, you can kinda see the development of the relationship over the course of the season, with Sateda and Tao and Sunday being particular milestones. I think they've come to be second only to Sheppard/McKay as far as character interaction that I love watching and reading about (and, increasingly, writing), which is especially interesting since it's such a recent development in terms of the show.

It's a fair question, though, and I'm actually a little bit surprised that you're the first person who's asked it. The answer is that I'm doing what the show did and essentially ignoring it. We could perhaps assume that there's something about the Rod method of crossing between universes that makes the process work a little differently than otherwise? But yeah, I'd thought of trying to deal with that and then just kinda went, "Screw it, the show didn't worry about it so neither will I." :D (Bad author, bad!)
