Question for those who have, or are, teenagers

What's the chatspeak or text-message-speak for when you're chatting and a parent/teacher shows up so you have to go?

This is for my webcomic. I tried Googling and found a couple of acronyms (like "POS", "parent over shoulder") but I'd like to check with an actual authority on the subject, i.e. a bona-fide kid.

Thanks! :)

As long as POS is still used, it'll work fine -- I just didn't want to have my character using it if it went out of common usage in 1999 or something...

I'm not a teenager (haven't been for a while) but there are some updates to the lingo that I'm aware of. POS is still used but since it's widely published, new ones have been popping up:

"Code 9" or "Code 8" Basically parents are around

"PRW" Parents are watching

"PIR" Parents in room

Those are the ones that stick out right off the top of my head...I'm sure there's more (they change all the time!)

Hope this helps!
