Dear Sholio,

I'm happy to commission something for a good cause. I'll donate $50 for a McKay/Teyla fic. No kissy-type stuff, but an interesting situation (which I *know* that you can do) and the two of them conversing and relating to each other on a deeper-than-Pinky-and-the-Brain level (which I also know that you can do brilliantly) are necessary. Perhaps this will inspire others to address the relationship between these two characters, which David Hewlett himself said need more time together!

Okay! To pay, you can either send money by Paypal (preferred) but if you don't have a Paypal account, you can send me a check or money order made out to Lea Hernandez and I will see that she gets it.

Thank you, again, for being willing to donate money to someone in need that you don't even know. It is a wonderful thing that you do.

Timeline - I'm asking that people send their "pledges" before I send you your fanfic, but otherwise, whenever it is most convenient for you: now so you don't forget, when you get your next paycheck, whenever. They do need money quite badly now, but I'm sure that it will still be just as appreciated a couple of weeks or months from now! I will be writing the stories as fast as real life and inspiration allows, which means that I really don't know how long it will take me to finish. I hope that I will have all of them done inside of a month, but it depends on how much time each one takes me -- and since people are being very generous with their contributions, I feel that I owe each of you a decently long story.

d'oh, I just realized that you asked WHEN you pay, not WHERE you pay. I am an idiot today.

Okay, I'll send the moolah thru PayPal. My mother (age 82)was burned out of her condo during a bitter cold spell last December. It was pretty horrible, so I'm happy to help someone, especially if they have kids.
