I seem to have been sucked into the giant time-hole that is Echo Bazaar.
But it's fun! Online games don't woo me all that often, but this one harks back to the old text-based RPGs like Rogue and Nethack that I used to play twenty years ago. And it has a really entertaining, tongue-in-cheek sense of humor.
The only thing saving me from really losing a lot of time to this game is that you're very limited on the number of actions you can perform per day, and there's a reset time of several minutes from one action to the next -- you can bypass this by paying for the game, but I'm finding the reset time useful in limiting my time-wasting somewhat.
'scuze me, I just got another action so I'm off to get some more Rats on a String. XD
