I have the best sister in the whole world!

She got me a Sheppard action figure! Sort of!



Technically, it's a military action figure, sort of GI-Joe-ish. But it's just insanely detailed with about a million little accessories.



Gun AND guitar! My sister said this is what originally screamed "Sheppard!" to her when she saw that.




eeeheeeheeeheee!




Okay, so he's really not all that Sheppard-like in the face. Or the hair. But the rest more than makes up for it.

(picture on back of "Sheppard's" box) Check it out -- it's like Barbie Dream House for G.I. Joes! I love the little gun rack and maps and -- this really got me -- the INFIRMARY! I don't know how well it shows up in the photo, but there's oodles of stuff ... hospital bed and cast and crutches and little monitoring equipment -- EEHEEEE!

I'm sorry, you're probably going to want to smack me when I say this, but looking at the face, I think it looks more like William Shatner than Sheppard. Although, Rodney does like to call him Kirk, so maybe there's some sort of connection there. ROTFLOL!!!!!!!!!

Okay, do I even want to know what you're going to do about the hair? I just looked at it again and realized that the whole head, including the hair, is made of plastic. Really, I think I'm just scared now. ;-)

And the flip flops, what's up with that? What are they, standard issue millitary flip flops? I don't think that they go with the uniform too well. LOL

You're right. You do have the best sister in the world. All my brother got me was a gift card for the movie theater. It was nice of him and I appricate it, but your pseudo-Sheppard has it beat by a mile. LOL

Well, I was going to give him a wig. We did that to a couple of our dolls when we were kids (usually after one too many "hair salon" incidents), and you can glue untwisted yarn or something similar onto their heads to simulate hair.

However, now I'm starting to think that I might rather look at the male Barbies and try to find one who bears more of a resemblance to Sheppard than this guy. There are some rather slacker-looking surfer Barbie dudes that might work, maybe with a little judicious hair dye (and perhaps some ear-reshaping). I'll have to look ...

This guy is conveniently standard Ken-doll size, so his clothes and accessories should be interchangable with a Ken.
