My VanCon ticket is now on Ebay

See the listing in all its glory here. You can "buy it now" for the price I originally paid, or bidding starts at $400. *nudge nudge nudge* (I've never sold anything on ebay before. Exciting!)

I'm still kind of heartsick about this, but I just can't -- it's been a hell of a couple of months (everything from family meltdowns to a death in the family, plus a big freelance thing falling through), and the set tours being cancelled and just -- augh, I really need to sell it. So if you know anyone who might like it, please pass the word. :)

You have no idea how much I want it ... but plane tickets to Vancouver are too expensive for me at the moment.
I also plan on going to Supernova a week before (James Masters and Gareth David-Lloyd!)
Good luck on selling it! It's certainly worth the $576.

Yeah, plane tickets to Vancouver are one of the dealbreakers for me too. But Supernova sounds fun - go you! :)

Man, I would so want to buy that and go to VanCon but plane ticket from Germany to Vancouver plus hotel in addition to the con ticket? I just don't have the money. :-(

Of course you can. You have your own issues to deal with or you wouldn't have to sell the ticket otherwise. And you having already bought the ticket and *then* having circumstances coming up that prevent you from going is far *worse* than me just regretting that the chance is out of reach anyway. :-) So, to be perfectly clear, I'm really more sorry for you that you can't go after having it already within your grasp, that has to be a real downer on top of everything happening that led to the situation.

So sorry you hae ended up not going. I waffled for a while, but the airfare to Vancouver is $250 more this year than when I have gone in the past. I even had an alert going, which would tell me if the airfare ever dropped--it only did by about $50 or so. Sigh. That hepled me make my ultimate decision not to go. :-(
