... but I guess I'm going to Vancouver Creation con, since I just bought tickets!

I feel like I've lost my mind ... I've never really had much interest in meeting celebrities or anything like that. I've even been to cons with celebs, back when I was going to comic cons a lot, and never really wanted to meet them!

But apparently they found the perfect bait to dangle in front of me this time around. :D (Flanigan+Hewlett+Luttrell+Momoa, all in one place, AND set tours too? I have no willpower.)

I never had any interest in 'stalking' the celebrities that some do, but in a convention, where they are they to talk about the show/movie/project, I've found it to be very interesting. I've also gained new respect for some of them.. and found a few that are like - less than. But all the SGA crowd has been fun, sweet and funny and I think you'll be surprised at how well spoken Flanigan & Hewlett are!

Comic Con - probably not. I have a full plate this year with various family-related commitments and trips. Though I'm learning to "never say never" when it comes to this kind of thing. *g*

its kind of rude when people call it 'stalking' though. You are going to a public event not crawling through their bedroom window

Trust me, the pictures are worth it. I'm still smiling over mine from last year (Joe, Joe and Paul, Rachel, Paul, Connor, David - sigh, David) and actually had fun getting one with Connor. I figure that if this is a one time event for you, then do the most that you can. Go home with no regrets or "I should have". Creation's cons are rather fast paced, but it is a treat to hear the actors speak and meet them up close. Last year at Polaris in Toronto, David spoke for two hours and was joined by David Nykl and Kate Hewlett - yay!

I actually have a lot of fun at Cons, and the guests are usually pretty fun too

and before you say anything about willpower this is my fifth VanCon in a row... plus I went to Chicago last August and am going to LA this November.

Now... who has no willpower? But yes, VanCon has the perfect storm. I just wish JF was on Sunday with the rest of them. What a fun day that would be!
