The Mindgamer

Everything is possible, nothing is ever really over.

Fanfiction is a creative outlet for you. You don't intentionally write it, it just happens. You find inspiration in several fandoms, but are not obsessed with only one.

You like to explore "what if" situations. What if this character had never made this very choice? What if this event had taken place sooner, never, elsewhere? What if these people had never met?

You are likely to write Alternative Universes, fan seasons or sequels and just follow your (sometimes pretty strange) plot bunnies.

... that's slightly creepy, actually. XD This would have been ridiculously accurate prior to SGA, but now it's only sorta accurate. *g* I think in SGA I fall somewhat more into their "true fan" category, and the detailed results confirm it:

You scored 44% on Slasher, higher than 14% of your peers
You scored 57% on Weirdo, higher than 30% of your peers.
You scored 71% on TrueFan, higher than 56% of your peers.
You scored 72% on Mindgamer, higher than 60% of your peers.
You scored 57% on BarelyFF, higher than 46% of your peers. WTF is this? she wondered.
You scored 35% on Immature, higher than 24% of your peers.

Take the test yourself.

.... okay, enough goofing off, damn it. BACK TO WORK.

I assume as the test is about what kind of "fanfic personality" you have, BarelyFF stands for some kind of "barely fanfic" option, i.e. people who are not into fanfic much.

Ahh! That makes sense to me, and it fits with some of the options on the quiz; I just couldn't figure it out.

I thought that option might mean people who write mostly Mary Sues and self-inserts, ie it isn't really fanfic, it's them and their friends IN SPACE!!1!11!

I may be wrong, of course :P

LOL, that meme is rapidly spreading over all of my f-list (and through various fandoms *g*). My result was True Fan, though I was quite surprised by that. :D

The True Fan

OOC is blasphemy, canon is everything.

Once you fall in love with a movie, book or TV series, you are loyal like an old dog. You take fanfiction quite serious and use it as a substitute after the canon ran out.

You are probably a walking dictionary of your favourite fandom and you are picky about what you write and read. The closer to the "real thing" fanfiction is, the more you like it.

You rather explore a character in all depth, see new sides and learn more about them than creating new characters or mix up the situations they are in.
