Yuletiiiiiide!
Yuletide nominations are open! I've just done my nominating (only six fandoms, so hard to choose!).
There seems to be a minor round of misogyny-in-fandom/character-bashing discussion going around, prompted by this classy post (in which dissenting comments have been deleted). I'm torn between taking the high road and distilling my comments on the subject elsewhere into a thoughtful meta-y post, or taking the low road and creating a "die Rodney die!" community and seeing if it's any more fun on the other side. Who knows, maybe I just don't know what I've been missing out on all these years, trying to write the characters as sympathetic and fully rounded individuals.
