Trapped! At the airport!
I am here but I have no plane. :( (But I do have free airport wireless -- albeit very flaky free wireless. Maybe it's got something to do with this big metal pillar next to me, but it's a big metal pillar with power outlets in it ...)
My incoming flight has been diverted to Anchorage because the wildfire smoke is too dense for it to land. It's like incredibly thick fog ... you can't even see across the runway, though I had no idea that it'd be bad enough to affect a jet. So here I am, hangin' out at the airport. This means I'm definitely not going to get into Minneapolis as early in the morning as I'd hoped -- the very best case scenario is that my flight will only be an hour or two late; the worst-case scenario would be that they cancel it completely tonight and wait to see if the smoke clears by morning.

Edit: But I'm learning things! :D An Alaska Airlines flight just landed, so the poor beleaguered Northwest guy (I'm starting to feel sorry for him; he's really young-looking and having to deal with a bunch of stranded passengers) came on the intercom and explained why it was able to land when our jet can't. Apparently Alaska Airlines has top-of-the-line HUDs in its planes ("like in a fighter jet", he said) so that they can fly into Alaska's foggy coast cities and deal with our short and somewhat uncertain runways. Apparently they can land with only 3/4 mile of visibility, while the NWA jet needs 3 miles -- right now we're at about a mile and a half.
