Updated fic-a-thon totals

Total pledged: $685 (*boggle*)
Donation incentives completed: 1/10
Remaining incentives in progress: 2/9

I'm counting "Old Soldiers" as one completed story even though I'm still writing a second one that actually tries to get all the points that she wanted in the story. But it'll probably be done after I finish the others.

I'm just floored by the response. You guys are truly the greatest. And, on a slightly more personal level, I'm also boggled by the feedback on "Old Soldiers". It was really just kind of a lark to write, but it's gotten by far the warmest reception of any of my one-shots in any fandom. Thank you all! I've been massively behind at responding to feedback (and, as regular reviewers of my stories are no doubt aware, I suck at it anyway), but I'm warmed beyond words by all your wonderful notes and comments and emails.

And I haven't forgotten about "The Killing Frost", I swear.

I'm glad you haven't forgotten "The Killing Frost," because I can't start reading it until it's all done and put to bed. *quirk*

When I made my donation a few weeks back, I asked for a McKay/Teyla friendship story. Well, I got a bug and wrote one myself. I'll be posting it in a week or so. Which means that you are off the hook in terms of subject matter, and that you get to do whatever you want with whatever story you want to write. *happy!*

"Old Soldiers" = wonderful.

Thank you! *blush*

Well, you're getting a Teyla-Rodney friendship story anyway, because I'm just about done with it. *grin* But I'm looking forward very much to reading yours, as well! There are not nearly enough of them.

Most people requested some variation on the theme of Rodney for their fic-a-thon stories, which is quite a delight for me, since I enjoy writing him -- and now I'm getting to write him interacting with pretty much every character on the show.

And I just posted the penultimate chapter of "The Killing Frost" (mmm, penultimate, I love that word), so all I have left is the epilogue and then it's done!

Penultimate! Yes, it rings with...letters! I'm so glad TKF is almost completely posted. It's a long six months w/o new episodes, so I need stuff like that to keep me occupied.

Thanks in advance for the Teyla-Rodney story. You're right: There should be more of them. Well, we can start a fad, then.
