Watched the first couple of episodes of the new season!

- This show is just so pretty. I really love all the different planets.

- What, I ask you, was even the point of putting corporeal Hari Seldon in stasis if he's just going to DIE FIVE MINUTES INTO EPISODE TWO? Come onnnnn.

- Cleons even more of a hot mess than usual this season. Lee Pace's lack of bellybutton is a) plausible, and b) unnerving.

- I forgot the Cleons have a Radiant of their own now.

- Oh wonderful, the Cleons built a Death Star. I'm sure this isn't going to hasten the end of humanity or anything.

- Did not expect Dawn collaborating with Gael at all! (I was expecting him to be working with the Mule when it was clear he was contacting somebody.)

- It's interesting seeing what's going on with Hoban Mallow's descendants, but I'm really not finding the side characters anywhere near as charming this season as season 2. I hope they pick up and get more interesting, but I'm currently feeling like season 2 was the high-water mark of the series so far.

Still interested enough to keep going!

If you're watching it, no spoilers beyond episode 2, please!

I WAS VERY INVESTED IN CORPOREAL HARI SELDON.

They could literally just have had him decide not to go into stasis at the end of last season and the result would have been the same. I do not know what the writers are smoking.

The counting primes together and sleeping and waking was really meaningful. I don't know what gives, either.
