I was honestly astounded at how fast this came together, but I had been vidding it in my head for a couple of days, so I mostly knew what I wanted to put where, I just needed the actual clips. But I was worried that it looked rushed - I mean, I was happy with it at the end, but also, it was SO fast - so I'm completely delighted it doesn't! And also really delighted you enjoyed it even without knowing canon!

I did it once and loved it. But it feels overwhelming to figure out now. How to get the mp3? What programs to use to capture video? I should research it soon.

I thought I remembered you making an SGA vid at some point! I hope you enjoy it if you try it again; I really do like it, though it can be very frustrating with having to learn new programs all the time.

This is not going to be very helpful because it's paid software I bought in a bundle with my Mac - Final Cut Pro. I really can't help with finding any free programs, though I do know that there are quite a few of them! I've been using CapCut to make short videos for professional purposes such as ads - an online browser-based video editor, which I think also has an app version - but I don't know how well it would work for vids. If you want to ask for suggestions for vidding software on Tumblr or DW, I'd be happy to signal-boost it for you!
