Babylon 5 vid
I have a folder on my hard drive in the vids folder labeled "to watch later," where I put fanvids I've downloaded for canons I haven't watched yet, but plan to.
The oldest one in the folder was a Babylon 5 vid from **2005**. It's entirely possible I created this folder just for that vid, and I've brought it with me through at least five or six different computer changes.
Astonishingly and against all probability, I looked it up on Youtube and it's still online. So not only can I finally watch a vid I downloaded 20 years ago to watch on some future date when I had seen the source canon, but you can too. (And it's good.)

I am delighted that it is still on YouTube, but I am even happier that it survived on your successive hard drives.

I'm glad you finally are able to enjoy the vid that your past self thoughtfully preserved for you :D

(I haven't been commenting on your B5 posts because busy, but I've been enjoying lurking.)

Haha, amazing! And thank you for sharing the vid.
ETA: Oh, and in addition to the recent ensemble vid I know you already watched, my most memorable (I hesitate to call it "favorite" because it's pretty dark) vid for B5 is Runs in the Family, which is about PsiCorps/telepaths (Lyta-centric, but I would call it a general PsiCorps vid). (Song is "Runs in the Family" by Amanda Palmer, in case that's relevant information.)

I can see exactly how that concept would follow from that song.

Understandably! I just watched it and love that it made two lyrical connections which I had thought of and more that I hadn't. Thanks for the link.
And thank you re: icon! It is my favorite Babylon 5 icon, by the brilliant iconsbycurtana back in the day.
Nice! I never have had any icons for Babylon 5. Metropolis (1927) has always stood in for general sci-fi.

That is my favorite thing about vids to songs I already know, so I'm glad it delivered in that regard! (and, my pleasure! :)
Metropolis (1927) has always stood in for general sci-fi.
Makes sense! I only have sci-fi fan osmosis-level knowledge of Metropolis, but it seems like a worthy stand-in for general sci-fi :) (I guess my "general sci-fi" icon is probably this other one from B5...)
