A few caps ahead of season 5
A handful of caps/commentary on 4x21.
I honestly just really love that shot looking over Sheridan's shoulder at the three ambassadors sitting together at the press conference.

I mean to be fair he's mostly looking at Delenn, but it's just such a lovely "how far we've come" moment, and I love all four of them being framed together like that: human, Minbari, Centauri, and Narn, all working together to the same purpose.
In general I was thinking about how, for all of the thematic throughline about humans as a bridge species who are uniquely capable of pulling together other species as no one else can - which I do love, don't get me wrong! - the ending is really interesting because the opposite is happening with their interpersonal relationships. The human crew are currently scattered - Garibaldi's on Mars and not sure if he's coming back, Ivanova has her own command now, Marcus is dead. Meanwhile the aliens are pulling together like never before. Delenn, Londo, and G'Kar are visibly acting as a unit in this episode in a way they never have before, not just politically but also visibly framed together in a number of shots. I also love the scene with the three of them on the White Star.

... including the fact that Delenn specifically sought them out to tell them her plan ahead of telling the other ambassadors.
I miss the closeness among the command crew (though the jailbreak on Mars was *chefskiss*, I might need to post some caps from that too) but I really love the reconciliation, bridge-building, and cautious closeness that we're getting from the aliens at this point in the series.
Along those lines, I was also glancing at caps from the post-wedding unwinding scene on the White Star and noticing Londo's jacket thrown casually over the table by his leg.

I feel like this is by far the most relaxed we've ever seen him around G'Kar. (And possibly around anybody, other than girlfriends, and Vir by simple fact of the two of them being together a lot and Londo frequently treating him like part of the furniture.) As much of a mess as he can be (and definitely was, in season one) he's normally very conscious of his appearance in public; he's always going to be put together, fully dressed in the approximately 20 layers of Centauri going-out formalwear.
So it's just such a change to see him like this, jacket off, a little drunk, relaxed and playful and open in a way that we've really not seen him very often.

It's such a nice grace note to end the episode on, all spying on Delenn and Sheridan's wedding night aside.
ETA: Also, one thing I just realized about this scene is that it neatly and probably deliberately bookends the scene in 2x19 with Londo doing the same thing: watching the aftermath of the episode's events on the news in the dark, drinking in his quarters, after the conquest of Narn and G'Kar walking away from him in the council chambers. But the outcome is so very different.
Screencaps from Babylon 5 at cap-that, as before.

That's a great observation and such an interesting contrast.

Basically just co-signed to all of this and I love it. Also I still want most of his waistcoats.

I finally got tired of looking for icons suited to my needs, and decided to make my own out of that little smile in 4x15.

Whatever their other flaws, the Centauri definitely have a way with sartorial excellence.
