hAPPy Birthday Exchange

sheron and I spontaneously signed up at the last minute for hAPPy birthday flash exchange (celebrating the AO3 exchanges app) and Biggles fic mysteriously appeared. <3

I got an absolutely LOVELY gift:

Full of hurt/comfort, angst, and friendship with background mildly implied Biggles/EvS, it was a lovely comforting read this evening. <3333

(It was also simply nice to finish something for an exchange; I've had a terrible time with that lately.)

Oh that's such a cute idea and honestly I'm kind of amazed at how fairly breezy it is. I get why modern exchange culture is the way it is but I find the endless DNW etiquette wars to be exhausting.

Yeah, I saw signups were closing in an hour and we decided to sign up at the last moment. The relaxed rules about stuff make this flash exchange very accessible and FUN. I love that the reveals are 1h after the deadline for example.

Yeah. I love yuletide and I love that it has spawned this huge exchange scene, but not every exchange can or should be like that...there are so many participants now I think it can stand some fun rapid ones like this. 68 participants! 138 works for old requests! Awesome :D
