Any Vancouver people on my f'list?

... yeah, it's a question for a fic.

I'd like to know about local cemeteries. Specifically, there's a brief scene in the futurefic I'm currently working on that takes place in a Vancouver-area cemetery; I want something scenic and pretty. (The mental image in my head is the cemetery in "Dead Like Me" where George's grave is; I know DLM is filmed in Vancouver, so I assume that the cemetery is an actual one.) It doesn't have to be that, and I don't have to name the cemetery; I'd just like something with the character in question at their loved one's headstone looking at a scenic view of ... ????? Googling images is helping a bit, but I don't want to be flagrantly wrong.

I don't know personally, but if no one jumps in to help, I got similar (if less morbid ;)) help from my friend mer_duff, who's a Vancouver native. In the end, I set the story somewhere else, but she was incredibly knowledgeable and I'm happy to pass on the question :)

I'd actually thought about that, but it seems pretty frivolous for a small scene in a story that may never even see completion. *g*

I can fairly easily write around it if I decide not to use it or can't find good information, too.

I'm definately NOT from Vancouver, but I'd thought I'd stop by and say...I can't wait to read you're futurefic! :D

I've only ever seen one episode of "Dead Like Me" and was wondering...is the rest of the season as good as the first episode was? (Just curious.)

Thanks! :) I really like Dead Like Me and think the whole series is good -- very fun and quirky. I might've fanned on it a lot harder than I did if I hadn't gotten hooked on SGA at about the same time.
