Hurt/Comfort Exchange has tag nominations open already; the post with links is here. As you will see if you click through to the tagset, the Biggles fandom has already invaded. And the freeforms, picked up from last year, are a wonderland of creative inspiration.

(I imagine mods see us coming and are just like "Oh no, them again" ... though honestly it's not too bad, we're generally quite well-behaved!)

There is also a poll about a Biggles smut event over at the bigglesevents comm, patterned loosely on smut4smut.

Speaking of which, also very inspiring: the smut4smut freeform tagset.

("Agreeing to rough sex as self-punishment" is a tag I will definitely write for EvS one of these days; it calls to my id in a major way ...)

YES that is an excellent EvS tag that incorporates both h/c and smut!

I think the mods of all the other exchanges have coped very well with the wild attacks of Bigglesness in the midst of their exchanges, and I am delighted that I don't even have to think about nominating stuff for Biggles in the h/c exchange because it's already there :-D

I am still kind of boggled that Biggles has become a ... I was going to say "major", but if not that, at least a very enthusiastic exchange fandom! It is almost hilariously Present or Not Present, we either descend on an exchange in very enthusiastic numbers or decide to collapse and sit an exchange out.

This is how we spawn new disciples though. We're the sex pollen of fandoms. You can run and hide but, sooner or later, a Biggles fic will get you, and you'll be powerless to resist.

The smut4smut tagset is very inspiring. And that's a great EvS tag! Some of those tags are really just Biggles/EvS canon, like:

I added a couple more, because I'm desperate to write these. :)

But I love them for h/c-ex too! And I also was planning to put up a smut4biggles prompting post in bigglesevents in the next day or two (it's just been kinda crazy), and those sound like the kinds of prompts that would go beautifully there!

Exactly! I'm waiting with bated breath to find out whether that not-exactly-self-sacrifice gets through for H/C; probably not enough hurt. LOL
