Fandom things for the new year

The deadline for the Holiday Airdrop has been pushed back to a week from today (Monday Jan. 8). More time for writing - and treating!

I completely failed to do Fannish 50 last year (although I meant to) so maybe it'll work out better this year?

candyheartsex aka Candy Hearts Exchange is in signups. I don't plan to sign up - I'm going to try to hold out until H/C-Ex signups in late Feb/early March. But it looks like there will definitely be Biggles representing!

And there is also Febuwhump for 2024, another of the inspiring prompt lists that circulate around Tumblr, and this one has some very interesting options. (BEES!) Perhaps I'll try to write something for it ... although maybe not that one.

I'm surprised no one was chased by bees in the book, that I can remember. It *had* to happen at least once.

I was planning bunches of treats, but at this rate, I'll be lucky if, alongside my assignment, I manage to finish the one I started the moment I saw a certain prompt. For now I'm just enjoying not hyperventilating non stop, thanks to the extension. :)

*waves a Biggles flag* Well, I've done a quick and very basic sign up for Candy Hearts. I'm assuming someone will join me eventually. :)
