Messing around in ChatGPT today trying to get it to generate ad images for Bearista, and one of the results really needs to be shared. Put beneath a cut for people who are avoiding AI stuff and also to save your sanity.
Bearista is one of my Zoe books, in which the hero goes undercover at a coffee shop to protect his ~curvy mate~ from the polar bear shifter who's stalking her. I had ChatGPT doing a lot of images along the lines of "sexy military dude in cafe serving coffee", gradually learning to refine the syntax into its particular style (it often rephrases your prompt when it gives you the image, so you can see what it thinks a valid prompt is).
Just previously, I had asked for a guy in a military haircut fighting a polar bear in a cafe, which resulted in this moderately reasonable image:

Props to the dude for trying to reason with the bear hostage-negotiation-style, I guess. But I wanted him to be more barista-like and less military. Too much military! Put some back!
So I asked for:
Image of a strong, handsome barista with a military haircut and a black T-shirt with a cafe apron over it, fighting a polar bear in a cafรฉ to protect a woman, set during the golden hour with dramatic lighting.
And I got:
Baby AI: nailed it ๐
There is so much going on here that it took me a while to notice the guy hiding behind the bear, and now I start laughing every time I look at him.

I just laughed so hard I spat out the tea I was drinking for real.
The woman in the second pic is clearly all, โTrevor, put down that assault rifle right now and weโll talk about this like reasonable people, also I asked for an oat milk latte over ten minutes ago,โ while the guy behind the bear is, โDonโt listen to her Trevor!โ

Firefighter Pegasus: Heroine is furious that the high-spirited Pegasus she fell in love with is actually a dude. And a firefighter.
Firefighter Phoenix: Just the โThis is fineโ meme

I laughed so hard that Brilliant Husband came to see, and I closed the cut and had him to through it as I had. I had just finished wiping the tears off my face when he opened the cut.
Yup, nailed it.
