So I totally want ALL the variations of fake dating, because it's for a case and they're gonna use Peggy as an undercover agent or something, except then they really have to pretend to keep their cover in front of others and then oops, it turns out they really have feelings except both of them think definitely the other person doesn't, or they think it's gonna be a bad idea, and so then both of them have feelings about the other and neither realizes. Or, they get into a stressful situation (deep cover in Russia? Prolonged gunfight and both of them rather have some PTSD at this point?) and they get somewhere sort of safe but they're not out of the woods at all (metaphorically or not lol) and whoops, the adrenaline and stress sublimate into realization of feelings and/or sex. Why does Jack keep flying over to LA anyway, lol? C'mon Jack, you're not fooling anyone. Then there's the really iddy they get captured and their captors force them into various things, or seeing each other get hurt, and one of them breaks and can't watch it anymore and it gives their captors ammunition (but then they realize, feelings for each other!) before they get rescued or something.

I love that they're foils for each other - they're actually both quite good at what they do and can work together great, but Peggy's incredibly good at what she does, truthful, and the world refuses to see; Jack is being lauded for something he did not do, and it's eating him inside. Ugh and they see that in each other!!
