Genprompt bingo card

I requested a card from [community profile] genprompt_bingo, because I see the words "bingo" and "card", and all my restraint and common sense goes straight out the window.

Character Study Trauma Season of Mists (Autumn Colours, Sensations, Activities and Festivals) Food, cooking and mealtimes Horror
Dreams and Nightmares Pride Reincarnation Writing, Text and Quotes Electromagnetic Waves
Pirate AU Feudal Ties / Master and Servant Wild Card The North Wind doth Blow Fix-its
The Bridge Sunrise / Sunset Freckles Logic and Numbers Winners and Losers
Terrible Zombies Ritual Marks and Body Decorations Humiliation Information is given off the record

I honestly don't know what to do with this one. XD I liked [personal profile] frith_in_thorns' card so much better than mine! All of the lines have at least one square that's going to be really hard for me, or downright impossible, or so vague as to be difficult to write for that alone (like "Fixit"). Hmmm.

I agree, that card is very uninspiring. What are you supposed to do with "terrible?" Or "electromagnetic waves?"

I was blinking at "The North Wind doth Blow."

Do any of the squares suggest obvious canons that you would be able to use as an anchor to warp the rest of the line into? (If I'm interpreting the instructions correctly, this style of prompt seems a lot more complicated than the usual "here is a canon I like and here are some characters I like and here are some things they could do.")

Is it? I've been looking over the posts in paranoia now that you've said this, but I can't see anything that says there are more instructions than usual for prompt squares?

I've not even finished reading your post and I'm getting a bingo card, even though I've dismally failed every card I've gotten for years.

Maybe we can help generate ideas? If you don't like fixits, maybe write something with a character literally fixing something.

you could always ask for your free reroll and hope for a better spread? genprompt bingo cards can be very hit-and-miss purely bc of how varied the prompts are :/

Well, fix-its is my specialty and the easiest one in this bingo! XD

I agree your card is a uninspiring :(

I have my card for that bingo and there's only the bottom line on mine that's achievable, the rest are of the prompts are tricky.

Sorry, I quite like your card XD But then I enjoy really spinning out the interpretations of things. For instance, there's no reason why you can't use "fix-its" as a character literally fixing something. Or to fix a lack of hurt/comfort in an episode.

(I would probably peg the middle horizontal line as the easiest to do, for myself: short pirate AU, something playing on a power differential from canon (Peggy and Jack?), something fun for the wild card, hypothermia, and a small canon detail-change.)

Also, don't forget you can actually swap the wild card space with any one other space on the board!

Ohh, looks like you got some good ones! Pirate AU in particular sounds like a lot of fun.
