This week's Expanse (5x09)
That was a good episode! Really tense - both the interpersonal stuff and the survival stuff. The escape from Earth was especially nailbiting, since I had absolutely no idea who (besides Amos) was going to make it, and even in Amos's case it was an open question throughout whether he was going to take the self-preservation option or the more self-sacrificing option. I'm actually amazed that almost everyone made it off-planet. I was particularly expecting Amos's friend to die. Avasarala is going to have her hands full when all of that lands in her lap.
Camina is absolutely breaking my heart. ;___; Especially since she's guilty (in her own eyes) twice over now, for not killing Marco in the airlock (allowing him to kill Ashford) and then not going after him afterwards (leaving him free to kill Fred and "kill" Naomi and then pressure her into her current catch-22).
Next week's episode is probably going to be amazing, but they cannot POSSIBLY wrap up the Marco storyline, which means we're in for another season of him. Hooray.
However, with so many characters' paths colliding in the Belt, I'm crossing my fingers for a big team-up between the Roci crew, Drummer's crew, and the Tycho Station bunch at the end of the episode to go after Marco next season.
Unless we get a big Marco-destroying kaboom at the end of this season, of course.

It's interesting to watch how her friendship with Naomi played out. And I think the fan response to that and the fact that that relationship was shipped, so to speak -- and nobody shipped Naomi and Drummer harder than me and Dominique [Tipper, who plays Naomi].

The cast that I got to work with this season, this show has this miraculous way of just casting some of the most incredible people. And the chemistry that you're seeing onscreen with that group, it's real. It's real. We had such fondness and affection for one another, and the friendship that we share as a group is still ongoing. We actually have the most hilarious and incredible group chat that, like, oh, if only you knew! [Laughs] And that doesn't happen. That's not a guarantee. That's quite a rare thing. We shot that stuff a year ago, and a year later, we still have a very active group chat going. [Laughs]
