IDK if this is a politics topic you were considering, but I personally would love a "so here's what's up in Alaskan politics lately" summary. I especially would like to know what eventually happened with the trying to dissolve the University of Alaska...

But also I voted for many other things. I'm easy. :D

Sure, I can do that! In general AK politics has been a profoundly depressing shitshow, like probably every other red state, but perhaps the most interesting thing that has happened lately (well, technically back in October) -- and satisfying on a schadenfreude level -- started with the mayor of Anchorage being profoundly unpopular with the right because he kept ordering common-sense things like lockdowns and mask mandates, to the point where some elements were trying to get him fired by branding him a pedophile (like you do), finally did end up getting him to step down when a batshit right-wing news-anchor lady had a meltdown claiming to have had an affair with him, which may or may not have happened ... anyway, after he stepped away, the city council promptly appointed Anchorage's first out, queer mayor to replace him and the city is back in lockdown, so that worked out well for them. :D

I'm not even especially interested in Torchwood or Iron Fist/Defenders/etc., generally, but you always manage to make them sound compelling. Not that I plan to watch them, but I enjoy your thoughts regardless.

I really want to read the post about how everything we learn about propaganda in school is probably wrong (I actually almost took a college class called propaganda and war-I sat in on it when visiting colleges and then they didn’t offer it again once I actually started at the school)
