All Iron Fist this time! There's actually been quite a lot of new Iron Fist fic posted over the last few weeks. I recced some of these in other contexts, but this is basically a roundup of all the new, recent IF fic that I enjoyed. (Some of this was written for me, or prompted by me.)

Falling by

glorious_spoon (3900 wds, Ward & Danny & Colleen) - Harold's experiments give Ward superpowers, with severe side effects. This is everything I want from an accidental-superpowers fic. So, so good.

The Telltale Statuette by

yhlee (300 wds, Ward & Danny) - This is so totally a thing that WOULD happen to these two idiots. <3 I love Ward being a better person than he'll admit to, and embarrassed by it; this is great.

Danny Rand, Gator Wrassler by

yhlee (1000 wds, Ward & Danny) - The hysterical thing is how PLAUSIBLE it is that Danny would end up challenging an alligator to a duel in the sewers under New York. I love it.

Chicken Noodle by

glorious_spoon (400 words, Ward & Danny) - Speaking of things that would happen to them ... trapped in a cargo hold, forced to consume the contents of random mystery canned goods. Sounds about right. Delightful with A+ banter.

Sufficiently Advanced Magic by

edenfalling - a very cute snippet with Ward and Danny. Ward being grumpy about all the mystical bullshit in his life is so totally my jam.

It's Not a Competition by

scioscribe (3500 wds, Ward & Danny) - Ward is poisoned in a dungeon. Danny panics. As you do. Worry, self-sacrifice, and banter - MY HEART. ♥

Birthday Dinner by

glorious_spoon (600 wds, Ward & Colleen) - Ward and Colleen try to cook Danny a birthday dinner, trying not to murder each other in the process. So adorable. I LOVE THEM. And there is not enough Ward & Colleen fic in the world. ♥ ♥ ♥

Yronfistelike by

yhlee (650 wds, Ward & Danny) - Trapped in a roguelike computer game, with predictable (and hilarious) results. If you've ever played Nethack, Rogue, or variants, you will laugh.

Phantom Pains by

calliecaddie (1700 wds, Misty & Danny) - Wonderfully in-character Misty POV about coping in a post-Infinity War, post-Snap world. Numerous background character deaths as per the premise. Part of a series involving all the Defenders characters.

The Inn of the nth Happiness by

Prochytes (2300 wds, Danny/Colleen + a variety of others) - Danny gets back from Asia, and everyone gets a little too invested in trying to get him and Colleen back together.

Pastrami on Rye by

aohatsu (100 wds, Peter Parker + Danny) - MCU movie characters meeting the TV characters is not generally my thing, but this is super cute.

better not to breathe (than to breathe a lie) by

thewingway (2300 wds, Colleen with background Danny/Colleen) - post-S1/post-Defenders fic about Colleen and her sword(s). Really lovely.

Written in the Stars by

dirty_diana (vid, Colleen, Colleen/Danny) - and finally, my absolutely gorgeous Festivids treat spotlighting Colleen and the parallels between her storyline and Danny's.
