Here's something kinda cool: Tiffany's "I Think We're Alone Now", in a new 2019 remake by the original artist.
Compare to the original 1987 video:
ETA: Holy shit, she was only 15/16 when the original song/album were recorded in 1987. I had no idea. This makes me even happier that she didn't end up like a lot of kid stars do; she seems to be happy and making music right up to the present day.

Alas, I see from Wikipedia that her attempt to have herself emancipated failed, but at least she got a guardian (her grandmother) who sided with her.
ETA: And OMG the 2019 video, with all the callbacks. (The denim jacket -- when my wife gave a keynote speech at Lavender Graduation at one of the universities where she teaches, she was giving it from the perspective of her late-80s/early-90s self, and insisted on borrowing my denim jacket; somehow, I'd forgotten how ubiquitous they were.) She also reminds me somewhat of Taylor Dayne.

Thanks for sharing these. I'd heard the remake on Spotify but didn't know about the video.

(And despite the shots of feet in high-heel shoes, the 2019 remake is also mostly non-sexualized, which, again, is very refreshing. :D )

I have that album Tiffany signs in the new video. I would dearly love to ask her to sign it today.
