mcu_exchange for info - signups close May 13!

I have requested both art and fic, and would be happy with either. I think most of my prompts will work for both. If in doubt or running short on time, a nice portrait of my requested character(s) or a character/relationship study of the characters doing pretty much any everyday activity together will always make me happy! (Character bonding or hurt/comfort are two things I'm into in just about any situation. I enjoy everything from cotton-candy fluff to heavy angst as long as a happy ending is implied.)

Endgame: I've seen it, and I am generally fine with having Endgame canon included in a gift for me as long as my DNWs are observed, but I also am totally fine if it's simply ignored. (I think for purposes of my own personal headcanon, the requested shows are in a "one step to the left" non-Endgame universe anyway.) There is one exception to this which you'll find in the specific requests below.

Likes: Hurt/comfort of all types, the tropier the better; fluff, angst with a happy or at least hopeful ending, found family, curtainfic/domesticity, characters hanging out together (getting drinks, playing games, etc), casefic/action, presumed dead, missing scenes, futurefic, loyalty, enemies/antagonists to friends, bickering/banter, AUs, all the tropey tropes (e.g. bodyswap, soulmates, amnesia, etc).

Do not want: Incest, permanent character death (presumed-dead fakeouts are fun though!), dark/depressing endings, unrequested non-canon ships (canon ones are always fine).

Characters and relationships:

Ward Meachum

Anything Ward-related would make me happy. I'd love basically anything to do with him, pre- or during or post-canon. My favorite characters for him to interact with are Danny, Colleen, and Misty, but it would also be fun to see him with someone he doesn't interact with much in canon, like Jeri or Claire, or attempting to reconcile with Joy post-canon. Or maybe a flashback with him, Danny, and Joy as kids! I also like his S2 assistant, Katie, from what little we see of her. And it would be interesting to see Ward trying to be a dad, or dealing with Bethany while overseas or after he comes back.

Ward meeting the Defenders or some of their supporting characters would also be fun! Would he get along with them? Give them the shovel talk about Danny? Maybe not even realize who they were until later?

So, anything Ward, basically - from hurt/comfort to character study to hijinks with Danny or the Defenders. Whatever floats your boat. I love Danny/Colleen, so feel free to include that if it works for your plot. I also have a secret soft spot for Ward/Misty if your tastes run in that direction.

Ward Meachum & Danny Rand

ROAD TRIP ROAD TRIP! I'm still sad that the canon had to end, but they got such a good ending. It's such a wide-open world to play with. I'd love to have some hurt/comfort, or awkward-adorable bonding, or Danny teaching Ward to fight/Ward teaching Danny to shoot, or anything, basically, with these two people who really care about each other, but don't actually have that much in common, getting to know each other a little better while sharing hotel rooms and pulling off magic gun heists.

Getting-to-know-you between-seasons fic would also be fun, or missing scenes set at any point in canon. I absolutely love Danny and Ward's friendship/brotherhood and the way it builds from literally trying to kill each other, to their obvious affection for each other in season two. So anything that explores their relationship would make me happy. I'd love to see some of the milestones in their evolving relationship as they come to realize how much they mean to each other (the first time Ward accidentally-on-purpose called Danny his brother, the first time they hugged, etc), but you can also just give me them hanging out together in some tourist attraction or dive bar somewhere in Asia and I'll be totally happy.

I love Danny/Colleen, so feel free to include that. I also have a secret soft spot for Ward/Misty if your tastes run in that direction.

I really miss these ragtag misfit losers! I would love anything with them learning to be a team, or actually being a team, ranging from fighting crime together, to hurt/comfort, to just hanging out and bonding over pizza. Any of their associated supporting characters, canon love interests, etc. are welcome too. You can have them dealing with the fallout of the events from their various shows, or just give me team bonding in which presumably everything has been resolved.

The dynamic of Danny's sunny golden-retriever personality interacting with the darker, broodier members of the team is a lot of fun for me (and anyone else can be included as well!). Maybe Matt mentoring Danny and teaching him things? Jessica being annoyed but secretly having a soft spot for him, or Danny doing something specially nice for her?

Hurt/comfort is delightful - maybe the characters escaping from bad guys, or one or more being hurt in the field, or hanging out with each other in the hospital.

I don't know when JJ S3 will air, but you can assume that by the time the exchange goes live, if it's out yet, I will have watched it, so don't worry about spoilers.

Canon-specific DNW: No Danny-bashing, please.

My SSR OT3. <3 I'm very happy with any combinations of them in either a gen or ship capacity. Background Peggy/Daniel is always fine regardless of what else is happening shipwise.

Endgame exception: If you create something for Agent Carter for me, I would prefer not to have Endgame canon included, unless it's a fixit or a "characters meet AU versions of themselves" type of dimensional crossover.

Perhaps something from an SSR case: dealing with some kind of weird villain, being on a stakeout together, having drinks afterwards, maybe just hanging out in the bullpen together. Hurt/comfort is always great, the tropier the better: characters being captured together, getting shot in the line of duty, anything from Jack's recovery. If you go for the ship option, get-together fic is always good, as is anything from later in their relationship when they're having to negotiate a poly relationship in the 40s/50s. I also really love AUs in general, but particularly for these characters: IN SPACE!, Regency, urban fantasy, steampunk, anything is good.
