Yeah, exactly. It's the relationships that aren't quite there. I don't think this is an objective problem with the show (it's just not the story they're telling) but it's definitely a problem with me, as a viewer, to engage me all the way. I like the show but I don't love it in a "must watch next episode!" kind of way. (I'm marathoning as fast as I am mostly to get to Defenders ...)

From what other people have said above, it sounds like the second season might be more compelling that way, but I still think I'll probably wait 'til I've watched the other ones I'm more interested in.
