Bonus: under the cut, an equivalent one for Deadpool 2 (very mildly spoilery? maybe?).

I agonized between "The Chain" and "Father and Son"; "The Chain" was the first one that jumped into my head so I went with that, but both sequences are so awesome for completely different reasons...I guess it kind of depends on how sad you want to be.

CHERRY BOMB. The first time I saw that movie I laughed so hard I thought I might pass out, but the 'here's the plan and our cool duds and our power walk' set to Cherry Bomb, complete with that moment where Rocket claws at the spandex, was just amazing.

I JUST LOVE THAT BIT SO MUCH.

And yes! it's like the whole GotG ethos, relentlessly parodying superhero heroism but making you cry anyway. "We're just like Kevin Bacon!"

Having read the comments, I'm not so sure now of my choice! I think I chose 'The Chain' more on song basis than scene-it-accompanied basis, though I do remember that sequence being good! Sooo... not really sure!

I haven't seen Deadpool 2, so can't do that poll.

The Chain - but then I love both the song and the actions/visuals of that entire scene.

I know it's controversial - but I really loved the whole 'come a little bit closer' bit. The arrow - the way it was done in slow mo, the revenge, just love it. However, while I like the visuals, the song is a bit.... off? I think there could have been a better song that went with those visuals.

I went with "Come a Little Bit Closer" because the slow-mo and the (violent) visual comedy combined with that particular song just worked so well for me, but The Chain was a very close second. But then also Cherry Bomb! And Ain't No Mountain High Enough! It was REALLY HARD.

Geez, I love these movies so much.
