Dark Matter 3x08 and 3x09
I need to catch up on comments (I did forget what a timesink comment-answering on DW can be), but we watched 3x08 and 3x09 tonight! Only 4 more episodes, noooo ...
Those were so much fun! :D I think I'm sold on Sarah now as a character. I loved her working with Five to (re) hack Android. It's nice to see her getting to be part of the team and interacting with people besides Three.
Husband points out that the neural tech used to degrade people's brains when it was used regularly and now it doesn't seem to do that anymore. I ... have no explanation for this, but now I feel cheated of h/c.
Also, Husband, aka Captain Killjoy, is rapidly becoming not the most fun person to watch this show with.
(in the time travel episode)
Husband: Why can't they just cloak the Marauder in the woods?
Me: I don't think they have cloaking tech in this universe. We've never seen them use it.
Husband: So how come nobody picked them up coming in? We have radar in 2017.
Me: ...
*smothers him with a cat*
Anyway, the time travel episode (which I already kinda knew about) was flat-out adorable and not too embarrassment-squicky. Lots of 3+2 stuff in it, whee. I think it's interesting how different seasons focus on different character relationships. This season seems to be having a lot of focus on those two. It's interesting, I don't really ship it in an OTP kind of way, and I think maybe part of why I ship it is because it's not really being played in a shippy way even slightly -- he's with Sarah, and also, remember that bit where he checks out her ass in the first episode? There's nothing like that anymore. He just really loves and respects her, and happily takes orders from her and teases her and tries to make sure she's doing okay emotionally. I love how much they respect and like each other. I don't need them to be an endgame ship on the show, I just want them to be friends always. ♥

When did Three turn into the "heart of the team" character on this show? What even. D: (I'm not complaining. I like it!)
And Two wants a puppy (SOMEONE WRITE THAT FIC), and she's playing video games with Five at the end, MY HEEEAAAART.
I don't want this show to be over. ;____;
