Agent Carter vid: Night Changes

This one has been in the works since last year. Right after the end of last season, I heard this song on the radio and thought, "Wow. That HAS to be a Peggy vid." The problem was that I couldn't figure out what to do with the third stanza. The Captain America movie and the first season of Agent Carter fit the first and second stanzas, but then there was all this extra song on the end. And then we got another season and everything clicked.

This is so great. I really like the editing, which often drags for slower songs, but you've got just right here. I think the red dress verses are my favourites. Also hugging!

Thank you so much! <3 I normally vid faster songs, and this was a very different experience; usually one of my big sources of frustration in vidding is having a bunch of perfectly lovely clips that I can only use in 2-seconds chunks, but this time I kept thinking "No, that clip is much too long" and then rewatching and having to make it even longer!

I am on board with all the hugs forever.

Marvellous, no pun intended! I love the motive of the red dress (of which I recalled only one when I had Howard say red was Peggy's true color in "Funeral Games" - how could I have forgotten about the others? My subconscious was clearly smarter), and the way you use the Peggy with Sousa and Thompson scenes, from the hostile scene in the pilot to the friendliness at the end. A great portrait.

Thank you very much; I'm so happy you liked it! <3 Ha, I was SO delighted when I started thinking about this vid again and realized that season two had not only given me Peggy in a red dress again, but also Peggy wearing a red cape as a little girl for the "her mother doesn't like" bit, transitioning neatly into Peggy wearing a red dress as an adult! A little gift from the show writers.

I loved that slow transition from uneasy/hostile to friendly, and really enjoyed working with it here.

I only know these characters through osmosis, but this is one of my favorite songs and I've always thought it would make a great vid, so I had to click and I'm glad I did. I really like it!

Thank you; I'm thrilled you liked it even without knowing canon! I adore this song, to the point where listening to it umptyzillion times for vidding was actually not a hardship. Vidding some songs gets to the point where it's just "If I have to listen to this verse one more time, I will spork myself in the ear", but this one never did. :D

Haha, yeah, I've listened to it a lot, too. There's something about the way the notes go in the chorus that hits me just the right way and I could listen to it over and over. (In fact, when I first downloaded it, I put in on repeat for a couple hours...)
