This icon never fails to amuse me. ATLA - still the best!

When I went to look up showtimes on Fandango via my usual lazyweb route of typing it into Google, the little line that tells you if you've been to a page 1, 2, etc times informs me: "You have visited this page many times". Yes, Google, I AM a loser. Thank you for noticing. (Also: will Bohemian Rhapsody ever not play in my head when I buy tickets this way?)

Anyway, Age of Ultron tickets for tomorrow's matinee: purchased! Nerd quotient: high! Chance of crowds: LARGE. (Inasmuch as Fairbanks ever has crowds for anything.) Now I just have to keep from getting spoiled for the next 24 hours while everyone and their dog sees the movie ...

Tonight, however, [livejournal.com profile] ellenmillion and I are getting together for a gallery crawl (like a bar crawl, but infinitely geekier), which I am really looking forward to. When was the last time I went out on a Friday night? Not for awhile, I think.

In other fandoms, I posted this month's new prompt post at [livejournal.com profile] collarcorner: May's theme is hurt/comfort, which, given the fandom, ought to be a popular one! Last month's AU post was impressively busy, with lots of prompts and several fills. Hopefully this one will go well, too.

I won't be able to see Ultron until I'm back from Hawaii, my current spoiler avoiding tactic has been to avoid tumblr. So far it's working. :)

I know I need to see AoU soon, both for spoiler reasons (and not just in fandom--Agents of SHIELD only waited a few days to completely spoil TWS), and because I want to see it. But I'm imagining the crowds at a large Chicago theater a few days after a mega blockbuster has been released and... ugh.
