NaNoWriMo ahoy!
Okay, I'm gonna do it: I've created a new journal for posting my NaNoWriMo novel and other original fiction: ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
icefallstudio. (Icefall Studio is the name of my freelance graphic design business, and is the semi-unofficial imprint under which I "publish" my webcomics.) I'll start posting the novel as I begin writing it on November 1. I should warn you ahead of time that, while I'm going to TRY to finish everything I start to post there, I can't promise anything! This is basically an experiment to see if having a place to post this stuff gets me more engaged with writing it.
Most of what's there is going to be published under friendlock, including the novel. If you are interested, please either post a comment here or at the welcome thread on the other journal. You can also just friend it and I'll friend you back. I know that friends-only fiction is a bother, and believe me, I understand totally if you don't want to -- but in this case I felt that I ought to keep it under lock for my own sake since it's original fiction and might be published someday. (Assuming it doesn't suck too much!)
However, I will also be web-publishing some stories at that site that aren't friendlocked, so you can always wait and read those if you would prefer not to have to jump through the hoops of friending and all of that.
