Jeff Eastin's story about how they got their con consultant is really cute, too. They already had an FBI consultant (I think they said on one of the commentaries that the guy even worked on white collar crimes out of the New York office...) but at the start of season two they decided that they needed someone to consult for the other side, so Jeff Eastin contacted a former con artist whose books they had been using as reference material for the show. He turned out to be a big fan of the show and was delighted to be asked to consult on it, came in and taught Matt Bomer to pick locks, whatever they needed him to do. :D

... and a Hustle x-over, oh yes! There are quite a few Leverage ones, but I have yet to see a Hustle one anywhere.
