Ha, I know! Whether you're in or out of a fandom, it's still really interesting to see how some of the same clips pop up over and over. Almost invariably they're not plot-critical moments, but character-critical moments -- something especially heart-rending, or a particular moment when two not-especially-touchy characters touched each other, or just a particular moment of "ooo, pretty!" or "eeeee, exciting!" that everyone wants to stick into vids!

... man, I'm looking forward to being able to look up HL vids. :D I'm not all that crazy about the idea of fic yet, because the show itself is so much fun to wallow in, but vids? I WANTS! And it drives me CRAZY that I have these older vids on my hard drive that I CAN'T WATCH. *flails*

(... course, the faster I get through the series, the faster I'll be able to watch them ... *g*)
