Regarding I-Man, there was actually just something on my flist in the last couple of days about putting together a possible rewatch. I would be all over that in a minute if I weren't so gone for HL right now, but once I get past the depths of this obsession, I'd love to give I-Man another watch. I've only seen most of the eps once, and not for a number of years now. (The first time around, I missed most of season one but saw season two -- when it was airing on TV; then about 2005 or so I downloaded the first season and watched that, so I could finally catch up on all the awesome that I missed and re-watch the handful of eps that I loved to death the first time, like Flowers for Hobbes (ETA: which, come to think of it, hits the friends-turned-evil kink from the other side -- heh!). But still, it's been so long now that one of these days, I really would love to start at the beginning and go through it again. Darien! Bobby! Claire! Eberts!)

Anyway, yeah, I remember wearing out VHS tapes, though for me it was my home-taped eps of MacGyver when I was a teenager; I watched them SO many times ...

Right now I've been vidcapturing favorite HL scenes from Netflix ... I have a program that captures video/audio from the screen (... it's actually how I take all my clips for my vids, rather than ripping DVDs; yes, I suck *g*) but the quality is poor, and I can't WAIT to get my DVDs and watch all of these scenes in high quality! Well, '90s broadcast TV high quality, anyway; we are so spoiled now ...
