The first chapter of Ghost Story is available on Penguin Books' website!
WHO WANTS TO TALK ABOUT IT?
(Obviously spoilers through "Changes" abound. Also, Jim Butcher's website has the schedule for the release of the rest of the chapters leading up to the book coming out in July, although Chapter 2 won't be out until JUNE. *wibbles*)
Because I am SHAMELESS and had already snuck a spoiler or two, I already knew most of the key information in this chapter: that Harry is dead, that he returns as a ghost, and that some of his loved ones are in peril. However, I think this chapter covered everything I already knew, which means AUGH! I NEED MORE! Also, now we know why he's back (sort of), and a little more about how the afterlife works in Harry's world.
So! Speculate with me! Who is in peril? Who shot him? Who will be able to see him? (I'm thinking Mouse for sure, and I would expect Bob would be able to, but that might make Harry's life too easy.)
