Thank you! Yeah, I think they could probably get away with a pet that was relatively self-sufficient and easy to take care of (some of the army units in Afghanistan have adopted local cats!), but something as high-maintenance as a dog ... not so much, really. But everyone is a sucker for puppies. :D
