Um, I'm not sure if I'm really the best person to serve as your guide, given how little of the show I've watched so far. :D The problem is, Tesla is not really in it all that much; it's very ensemble-driven, so he just shows up here and there and has cool bits. You could try watching the episode that introduced him, "The Five". The only other eps he's been in so far were the end of season 2-parter (Revelations part 1 & 2) and the first two episodes of season two (End of Nights 1 & 2), which was where the show really started picking up my interest, but that might be a bit much to watch of a show you're not sure about.
