Brainstorming! (and another ficathon that looks fun)
... okay, I think I'm gonna go sign up for this too: Three Space Shows and a Movie mini-ficathon. 500 words of gen fic for SGA, SG1, or ST (TOS/AOS), by late September? I can do that! :D

jalendavi_lady mentioned "pretty boys playing with fire" as a common theme between FMA and A:TLA, and I went "OOOOH" because that just begs to be a multifandom vid. I have the perfect song for it, and I can think right off the top of my head of three shows that would fit perfectly - FMA (Roy), A:TLA (Zuko/Azula/Iroh/Ozai), and One Piece (Ace).
So here are my questions for you, my f'list/circle:
- What other anime or animated series/movie can you think of that has character(s) with fire powers? I can use energy-based chi attacks for filler clips, if I need to, but I'd really like as much actual fire as possible. I can think of a few "maybes", but in these cases I've only seen a little of the show and I can't remember specifically if it fits what I'm looking for - I seem to remember that Sasuke on Naruto has fire attacks, and also, the red-haired girl in the main triad on Rayearth. But I don't remember either show very well. Any suggestions are welcome!
- One Piece people! What are some specific OP episodes that I should look at for Ace doing his bursting-into-flames thing, or episodes that have some kickass Ace fight sequences? For the vid in general, I'd like to avoid majorly spoilery stuff and just stick to fun, flying-around-and-flaming scenes. And can you help me find good-quality, sub-free raws for source footage? I can get DVDs from Netflix, but it looks like they've only got it up to Skypeia. You can PM or email me if you don't want to post links.

I have to admit I lost track of her story line in the end, so I'm not 100% sure.

There are a couple fire using mutants that I know from the X-men comics; I'm not sure if they show up in the movies or animated shows. Anyhow, Pyrho is one, but I don't think I spelled his name right. And, Sunfire was cool. I think his fire might have been nuclear bomb related. He's from Japan.
ETA: I think Pyro (sp?) has a small bit in X-men: The Last Stand. It fairly late in the movie when Magneto's people are trying to keep Xavier's people from going into Jean's house.

Hiei in Yu Yu Hakusho usually fights with fire. Also Vampire Princess Miyu.
IIRC, when Tsuzuki loses his cool in Yami no Matsuei, there are flames and/or a phoenix(?) involved.

It's a very new anime (as in I think still airing) called Uragiri wa Boku no namae wo shitteiru, and the characters name is Hotsuma. (he just demonstrated his fire abilities in the ep I'm currently watching...when I should be working on my dissertation, lalala...oops! ^_-)

There are fiery action sequences with Ace in episodes 94, 95, 97 and 101 at the beginning of the Alabasta arc, and then episode 325 right after Water 7. That's it, actually, unless you want the very recent episode 461, which has some good fire action scenes, but it might count as spoilery.
If you have problems getting any of these, tell me, and I could send them to you!

And how could I forget Hiei! He was a fire demon, right? Though I only remember him using his black dragon attack ... it's been so long since I've seen the show ...
Tsuzuki had crossed my mind as well, but I couldn't remember whether the flames were a regular thing for him. He did summon a phoenix familiar, and I think I do have the DVDs around somewhere; I'll have to look and see.
