Spamming my flist today: Ex Machina fic recs
I'm still loving the comic Ex Machina (and desperately hoping that the ending doesn't totally fall flat and/or kill off a bunch of characters, since the last issue comes out later this month), but fanfic for it is really thin on the ground. On the off chance that anyone on my flist is interested (and for my own reference), here are a few I've found that I liked - no spoilers under the cut, though the stories themselves may contain light spoilers for earlier parts of the series.
Dutch Courage by
scarlet_carsons - Light Mitchell/Bradbury, very cute: a drunk Bradbury shows up at Mitchell's place in the middle of the night.
Overheard in New York by Sarah T. - Gen; very good Mitchell character study about Mitch's uneasy relationship with his powers, insightful and a little painful.

elspethdixon - Mitchell/Bradbury UST (from Bradbury's side), nice character study with absolutely spot-on, perfectly-in-keeping-with-the-comic political maneuvering. This story really captures the slightly off-kilter way that Mitch relates to people close to him, I think.
Bring This Fair City Light by handyhunter - Gen, Bradbury POV, Mitchell backstory while he's still staying with Bradbury after his accident.
I need to remember to put this one on my request-for-Yuletide list, assuming that I don't hate it after finding out how it ends.
