Oh yay. :) That feeling of sadness and displacement was exactly what I was trying to convey, the post-action letdown when the adrenaline slips away and leaves nothing but weariness and isolation. And because I wrote the Rodney/Ronon relationship a bit different from how fanon tends to do it, I wasn't sure how readers would react. I'm glad you liked it, even if it did leave you a bit sad!
