Also (because I can't shut up tonight, apparently! *g*), can I just say that it really is nice to hear from someone who liked the episode, even though I know it must feel like a minority position in fandom right now. There has been a ton of general anti-squee going around fandom over the last couple of months, and while I can understand it, as someone who does still love the show I've kinda just been keeping my head down and not wanting to say much. Naturally the first episode that prompted me to post anything ... is one that I didn't really like! So it's awfully nice to get a little squee for it; I've been staring at my prompts for the two Christmas ficathons that I'm participating in, not really being motivated to write. It really shouldn't matter so much what other people have to say about the show, but I'm feeling more enthusiastic right now. :)
