Genficathon fic rec
Sure took me long enough to read it, but it was worth it when I did - this one is from
sga_genficathon:
If You Wrong Us, Shall We Not Revenge? by Jem
(About 30,000 words; PG-13; Jeannie, Bill Lee, Rodney, Teyla, OCs, SG1 cameos)
It's a simply fantastic "Outcast" tag dealing with the consequences of Ava's imprisonment and the question of just what, exactly, defines "sentience" and "humanity". Bill Lee is wonderfully developed in this as a fully three-dimensional human being, and there's lots of Jeannie (and her sweet, snarky relationship with her brother), and fantastic little touches of humor. It's the kind of story that I'm always thrilled to find in any fandom: long, thought-provoking science fiction.
