Blazing Saddles! Oh, I love that movie so. It's one of the few comedies that I really, truly love, enough to watch over and over. And it's unfortunate that audiences today (and, for that matter, then) sometimes get too caught up in the movie's use of taboo language to understand that it's using a giant satire sword to skewer people who use that language and hold those attitudes. Of course, that's the danger with satire ... some people just don't get it.
