I do recommend them! :) I would recommend not starting with the first book, though, unless you're one of those people who absolutely has to read in order. I normally am myself *g*, but I started with book 3 because our local bookstore didn't have the first two, and in retrospect I think it worked much better that way, because the first couple of books are pretty slow. I'm not saying they're bad, but I think the later books are much more engaging, and the third book happens to be not only the one that was my introduction to the series, but also the one in which the ensemble cast has started to coalesce.
