Yeah, I think that the issue of how people with mutually incompatible fanning styles can all enjoy the same fandom is the basic problem that goes right to the heart of a lot of these fannish debates. ^^;; And add to that our (human) tendency to be clique-ish and to torment each other and to take our fanning very very personally ... the amazing thing is that any of us ever get along at all. XD My own moral attitudes lean very heavily towards a "let everyone do what they want to do" kind of morality (in a lot more areas than just fandom), but then you see what people actually do when they have that kind of freedom ... aargh, so difficult. *hides*
