Ha, they have wireless access on my flight to Seattle! Which naturally I had to buy, because I'm such a giant nerd that sometimes I even worry myself, and I haven't been on a flight with wireless before (at least not with my laptop in hand).

Nerd mode: enabled! I can surf LJ and send emails at 30,000 feet!

After years of having a laptop with battery issues, I can't get over how much battery life I have with my new(ish) iBook -- if I turn down the screen brightness and shut off extraneous programs, I can do four hours with battery to spare. (But I don't like to push it that hard; I'm superstitiously worried about killing the battery, after going through so many batteries in the old one.)

Our cool flight from Houston to Newark and then overseas had power outlets at EVERY SEAT!! WooHoo!!! No battery problems!!
